A year in pictures

The following 12 pictures are the ones picked out for our 2008 calendar. We've had them printed by Photobox, and wrapped them up ready to give out as Christmas presents. We did some last year, and they proved so popular that this year we ordered 32 of them!

What a lovely idea - mind if I pinch it? Gorgeous photos by the way.

They are truly stunning photos. So much better than many in the shops. Where were numbers 4 and 8 taken?

We were surprised by how many people loved the calendars last year. For us it's nice because each month we get a reminder of a holiday / walk we've enjoyed.

PM - 4 & 8 were both taken in the Lake District, and are different views of Derwent Water near Keswick. 4 is from the South end, on the shore near Grange. 8 is from the ridge of Maiden Moor. The near peak with the path along to it is Catbells, then in the distance is Skiddaw to the left, and Blencathra to the right.

I love the photos, particularly the first one. Beautiful.

Hope you have a great Christmas ;-D

Christmas was lovely - and I do mean that, having read your recent post!

Getting away to the Lakes was possibly the finest idea we've ever had. For once there was no rushing around - just waking up to look over the lake, having a short walk, and then deciding which pub / restaurant to go into for a pint or glass of mulled wine.
